Using Spark CAB

This page describes how to use the Positive Grid Spark CAB with Spark amps, as a PA or as an output to a PA system.
Using Spark CAB with Spark Amps
Step 1 Make sure Spark CAB is powered OFF and the levels are turned down.
Step 2 Connect your Spark amp Headphone / Line Out to Spark Input of Spark CAB using the supplied 3.5mm Audio Stereo Cable. Also make sure the Input selector is in the Spark Input position
Step 3 You can charge your USB-C powered Spark amp using the USB-C Charge Out or power your Spark 40 using the DC Out.
Step 4 Turn on your Spark amp and then Spark CAB. You can now adjust the volume on Spark CAB as needed.
Note : Your Spark amp will be muted when plugged into the Spark CAB
Using Spark CAB as a PA Speaker
Step 1 Make sure Spark CAB is powered OFF and the levels are turned down.
Step 2 Connect the source's main output to the XLR/TRS Combo Input of Spark CAB. Also make sure the Input selector is in the XLR/TRS position.
Step 3 Turn on the source and then Spark CAB. You can now adjust the volume on Spark CAB as needed.
Using Spark CAB as an Output to a PA System
Step 1 Make sure the Line Out Volume of Spark CAB and the levels of the PA system are turned down.
Step 2 Connect the Output of Spark CAB to the input of the PA System.
Step 3 You can now start adjusting the Line Out volume of Spark CAB and the levels of the PA system as needed.
