What is Spark Control X?

Spark Control X is a foot controller designed for use with Positive Grid's Spark LIVE, Spark, Spark MINI, and Spark GO amps.

It features 6 steel switches with aluminum housing and rubber side panels, multi-color LEDs for on/off status indication, 2 expression pedal inputs, and more.

Does Spark Control X work with my current Spark amp?

Spark Control X works with all Spark amp series including Spark 40, Spark MINI, Spark GO, and Spark LIVE.

What’s the difference between Spark Control X and Spark Control?

Spark Control X comes with 6 steel footswitches instead of Spark Control’s 4 footswitches.

Also, Spark Control X works as a standalone foot controller for the Spark LIVE amplifier and adds multi-color LEDs for on/off status indication and 2 expression pedal inputs.

Finally, Spark Control X comes with 3 transparent overlays that can be used to label functions assigned to the footswitches and can be swapped easily.

Do I need the Spark app to use the Spark Control X?

You need to pair the Spark Control X with the Spark app to control your Spark, Spark MINI, and Spark GO. However, Spark Control X works as a standalone foot controller for Spark LIVE. You can connect it directly to your Spark LIVE or adjust settings with the app.

What type of battery does the Spark Control X use, and how long does it last?

Spark Control X utilizes a 3.7V / 750mAh lithium-ion battery, providing a runtime of up to 150 hours on a single charge.

Can I control wah or volume with Spark Control X?

Yes, you can connect 2 expression pedals (available for purchase separately) into Spark Control X to control effects like wah-wah or volume pedal.

Can I use Spark Control X to control BIAS software?

Spark Control X is not programmed to be utilized with BIAS software out of the box.
